Where can I find the Manuals

The electronic manuals for MacRepertory 6.0 and ReferenceWorks 3.0 are located in your MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks folders located on the top level (root level) of your Hard drives. On Windows computer this will your C Drive, (C:\yourdrive).
In different versions they are found in slightly different folder, see below.

You find several Manuals for different versions of MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks. Sometimes you will find extra manuals eg Concept Search and Theme Pallet and the Millennium Repertory in MacRepertory and a Limits Manual in ReferenceWorks.

Please remember these are Acrobat files. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat loaded please install using the "Install acrobat reader4.exe" from inside the Application Installation CD

For Macintosh users:

Please open your MacRepertory Folder from your Harddrive and locate your MacRepertory Pro Manual.pdf.
To locate your ReferenceWorks manual please open your ReferenceWorks Folder and locate your *ReferenceWorks Pro Manual.pdf.

If you have Mac OS9, you may find it convenient to have some Manuals available as Alias'es in your Dock.
Just the drag the alias to the Task Bar at the bottom and it will stay there.

For Windows users:

Please open your MacRepertory Folder on your HardDrive, open your MacRepertory Manuals folder, inside you will find your MacRepertory Pro Manual.pdf.
Your ReferenceWorks manual is located inside your ReferenceWorks Folder, inside the Manuals and Features folder, called ReferenceWorks Pro Manual.pdf.

It's a good idea to create some shortcuts and put them on your Quick Launch bar.
Right click on the Task Bar and select Properties.  (That's the bar at the bottom of the screen.)
Make sure the Quick Launch has a tick next to it.
There is a bar on the Task Bar which separates Quick Launch for the other elements of the task bar.
Drag to the lefthand side to about 3cm from the Start Menu.
Create some shortcuts for your favourite manual eg MacRepertory Pro Manual.

 (Go into your MacRepertory Folder inside your C: Drive and then look in your Help or Read Me or Manuals and Features folder.
Right click on the item which you would like to make a short cut from.  Select send to desktop.
Once it is on you desktop you can then drag it to you Quick Launce area of the Task Bar.
Now you have a shortcut on your task bar.
You could also drag short cuts for MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks to the Quick Launch area of the Task Bar.
