KHA Nomenclature
| Term |
Definition |
| CPD |
Abbreviation for Copy Protection Device a.k.a. key. |
| Keynotes |
The name of the window in MacRepertory where the Key Notes or Materia Medica can be perused. |
| Library |
There are separate
libraries for both MacRepertory and ReferencewWorks. The reason for this is that they do different this and the information in the texts is spit up in different ways so a book for one program cannot be used by it's sister appplication. Here is an example of Vermeulen's Synoptic I in MacRepertory. |
| Repertory |
MacRepertory is a
program within which many different Repertories are available. If
you think of a CD player which can play many different CD's. Each Repertory may be opened in turn, browsed and rubrics can be copied to a Clipbord. The current repertory can be substituted for another and rubrics may be copied from that new repertory to a clipboard. At anytime a graph may be created from the information in a given Clipboard. See here. In MacRepertory you could have 19 different repertories and change between them with one click. |
