Tip #3 - Family Concept Graph

concept graphThe Concept Graph can often give you a good over-view of a family. You'll find a pdf manual, which describes all of the details of the Concept Graph in your MacRepertory Folder. Here's a quick example of using it for families.

Select "Concepts" from the Search Menu. Type in the main members of a family; in our example, we'll use the main serpents "lach/naja/crot-h/vip". (Use slashes to separate the abbreviations.) Press search.

This means "find every rubric where the above named remedies are found throughout the current repertory and then create a graph. A graph displaying the number of rubrics for each remedy in each section will appear. If you want to see which remedies are associated with the bars, press the space bar.

I like to have this graph displayed differently... Click on this icon;  and choose "Section Names Above" then click OK. Now click on this in the lower left. The bars now go negative when the remedy did far worse in a section than was expected and positive when it did far better.

You can see that the snakes seem to have a affinity for the throat, larynx and stool.

Now press on the small fuschia head icon in the lower left. This is a list of different groups of words that we can compare our remedies to. Choose locations.
