Here are some tips about running a Windows version of KHA software on a Macintosh OS X computer that has Virtual windows installed. KHA is unable to support this product and can't guarantee program functionality of any KHA product. We recommend only using our latest versions MR 8 & RW 4.
The best solution is to get Virtual Box from Sun/Oracle its free. Windows operating system, XP/Vista/7 for around US$250 (prices may vary- contact suppliers directly). KHA supplies a transfer of platform from Windows to Macintosh (NO cases can be transferred, sorry)- contact sales for more information on this feature.
Install MR7/RW4 from DVD (follow instruction sheet)
Download and install the latest Windows Superpro driver from the Sentinel website.

*The main thing to watch for would be to make sure the VM's virtual hard drive is large enough to accommodate Windows itself, the programs you want to install, plus a decent amount of free space for Windows to use as a swap file, and that enough RAM is allocated to the VM. New users will likely opt for the recommended "Typical VM" option in the setup wizard. This will create a machine with only 256MB RAM and an 8GB hard drive in XP (different values for other versions of Windows --see Parallels user guide p29). Both these values are readily adjustable, but the hard drive change is a destructive one so should be made before anything is installed on it. (It can be adjusted non-destructively in existing VMs, but this is a lengthy process which includes running routines from the Command prompt in Windows.)
Windows treats the rest of the Mac like another computer so you can access OS X files through "My Network"
Dear friend of KHA,

Also remember the cost of Parallels (or other Virtual programs) is around $79 and you will need a Windows operating system, XP or Vista for around $250 (prices may vary- contact suppliers directly).
