As of MacRepertory 7 and ReferenceWorks 4, installation has become very easy. You will now have one DVD and one CDROM. The DVD contains all of the books, repertories and applications (programs), and are generic in that everyone will get the same DVD. The CDROM contains your MR 7 or 8 Config and RW config files only.
These config files (short for configuration files) are linked to the copy protection device you have. (AKA Key). These files are unique to you and contain information which permits or governs what software and books you are able to access on your computer.
So installation is very simple but may change as newer versions of the installers are released.
Below are some pdf files created by Lourdes at Kent Homeopathic Associates Inc.
There are slight difference with the Macintosh installation but it's almost the same.
If you still have problems, call your local representative or KHA Support.
If you just want to install an extra book, repertory or library, scroll down and look for that book or repertory or library and select it before continuing the installation.
If you have the Classic Package or either MacRepertory Classic/Pro or ReferenceWorks Classic/Pro, just scroll down and select what is appropriate. If you select the wrong thing then just go back and do it again. You wont be able to access books or applications that you have not paid for.
